Welcome and Sorority Row

Hello readers!

My name is Charnele and I'm obsessed with movies. I quote lines from them, recite scenes from my favorite pictures and I can even remember where I was when I saw each film for the first time. With that being said, I made this blog to review movies after I see them, so you know if you'd like to fork out the $9.50 (plus popcorn, drinks,candy,etc.).

I named this blog "Dollar Popcorn," because I always go to the theater on Tuesdays, sit with a dollar popcorn, and laugh, cry and sometimes be amazed at the movie I watch.

Unfortunately for me, this week, I went and saw "Sorority Row," with Rumor Willis, Audrina Patridge and a few other,um, actresses. Trust me, it's not worth your time. To put it gently: It sucks. The movie opens with bratty sorority seniors who play a prank on an ex-boyfriend. He clearly doesn't get the joke, and ends up killing one of the sisters on accident. The entire movie continues for about an hour with "something" mysteriously killing all of the girls involved until the "surprise" ending which isn't too surprising.

Bottom line: It's an annoying movie with too many high-pitched screams, but if you're into that sort of thing, check Fandango for movie times.
